Description
It's never too early to build money confidence.
Session 1 shares simple concepts that change how pre-teens and teens view money: needs vs. wants, saving toward a real goal, banking basics, an intro to investing, and how to spot a scam. This interactive session, led by Riley Derwich, is part of our Future Ready Finance series that empowers them with money lessons that most parents had to learn the hard way.
Expect to walk away with:
- A clear sense of needs vs. wants, and how to choose between them.
- Their own first spending and savings plan, built around a real goal.
- An understanding of how a bank account works.
- A beginner's grasp of investing and why starting early matters.
- The tools to spot an online scam before it spots them.
- A take-home kit to keep the conversation going at home.
Seats limited to 12 — register early.
